Family Update

Well I am very sad to say that I returned to work on Wednesday. I never thought that I was the "stay at home mom" type but over the last 8 weeks I loved being home with the boys! Even when they were driving me nuts. It was great being able to take Brenden to school each day and pick him up. It was wonderful not having to rush around in the evenings trying to get things done. Back to reality.....we get home and now cram homework, dinner, baths and cuddle time all into 2 1/2 hours and I am not liking it at all. I was very sad to say good bye to them Wednesday morning but I know that they are in good hands. On top of working full time and taking care of 4 kids and a house I have decided to return to school to get a bachelor's in Web Development. I figured I had so much free time...! Well obviously that is not true but I still decided to take it on. I am taking classes online so that I do not have to be out of the house and away from the kids even more and can study and do homework at night when they go to bed.

The Boys

Cody: He is adjusting well to being at Jessica's house during the day. He is doing great getting on a schedule. He is now eating 6 oz every 4 hours! He is taking scheduled naps during the day and usually dozes off about 8:00 p.m. and then about 9:00 p.m. I wake him for a bottle and then back to sleep he goes. He goes through the night without another bottle but is still slightly waking up and is restless between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. which is when he gets a bottle. He never fully wakes so I am hoping we are close to an all night sound sleep.

Kaiden: All I can say is TERRIBLE TWO's. He is very sassy but cute. He is talking in sentences a lot more and learning knew words daily. He can be a very sweet boy and loves to help as long as it does not involve cleaning up the toys that he made a mess with! He loves Cody and always wants to help with him which I am sure will wear off soon.

CJ: He is loving preschool and his teachers say that he is wonderful and they love having him in class, when I figure out who they are talking about I will let you know! CJ has developed a little temper and has some very sassy moments which is teaching Kaiden some bad habits but I am praying that it will be very short lived.

Brenden: He is doing great in school. He is a smart little guy! Actually not so little anymore, my baby will be 7 in less then a month. He has joined Cub Scouts and will be going camping for the 1st time next weekend. He is very excited to be going with Papa but Papa is not so sure!
