Family Update

Well I am very sad to say that I returned to work on Wednesday. I never thought that I was the "stay at home mom" type but over the last 8 weeks I loved being home with the boys! Even when they were driving me nuts. It was great being able to take Brenden to school each day and pick him up. It was wonderful not having to rush around in the evenings trying to get things done. Back to reality.....we get home and now cram homework, dinner, baths and cuddle time all into 2 1/2 hours and I am not liking it at all. I was very sad to say good bye to them Wednesday morning but I know that they are in good hands. On top of working full time and taking care of 4 kids and a house I have decided to return to school to get a bachelor's in Web Development. I figured I had so much free time...! Well obviously that is not true but I still decided to take it on. I am taking classes online so that I do not have to be out of the house and away from the kids even more and can study and do homework at night when they go to bed.

The Boys

Cody: He is adjusting well to being at Jessica's house during the day. He is doing great getting on a schedule. He is now eating 6 oz every 4 hours! He is taking scheduled naps during the day and usually dozes off about 8:00 p.m. and then about 9:00 p.m. I wake him for a bottle and then back to sleep he goes. He goes through the night without another bottle but is still slightly waking up and is restless between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. which is when he gets a bottle. He never fully wakes so I am hoping we are close to an all night sound sleep.

Kaiden: All I can say is TERRIBLE TWO's. He is very sassy but cute. He is talking in sentences a lot more and learning knew words daily. He can be a very sweet boy and loves to help as long as it does not involve cleaning up the toys that he made a mess with! He loves Cody and always wants to help with him which I am sure will wear off soon.

CJ: He is loving preschool and his teachers say that he is wonderful and they love having him in class, when I figure out who they are talking about I will let you know! CJ has developed a little temper and has some very sassy moments which is teaching Kaiden some bad habits but I am praying that it will be very short lived.

Brenden: He is doing great in school. He is a smart little guy! Actually not so little anymore, my baby will be 7 in less then a month. He has joined Cub Scouts and will be going camping for the 1st time next weekend. He is very excited to be going with Papa but Papa is not so sure!

Cody - 2 Months

2 Months
10 lbs 9 oz
23 inches
Cody had his 2 month check up today and again everything is going well. His acid reflux is still causing him to "spit up" (ok throw up) a lot but with his medicine he is not bothered by it (even though we all think it is yucky!) Unfortunately it will get worse before it gets better but by the time it starts increasing he will be able to have some cereal in this bottles to help keep it down. He is completely on formula now and seems to be adjusting to it well. He had to switch from the Soy because it was causing him to not be able to go potty, now everything is as it should be. Cody is smiling a ton and telling all kinds of stories. He loves attention from anyone! He is still only sleeping about 4 hours straight at night which I am hoping will change in the next month. I hope he follows in his brothers foot steps and starts sleeping all night at about 12 weeks (fingers crossed!)

All The Boys & Grammy Too!

The boys had their 1st picture taken as 4 brothers! They also got to take pictures with Grammy and their cousin Austin. The big boys did really well and actually followed directions with NO meltdowns!

CJ's 1st Field Trip

CJ went on his 1st field trip with his preschool to Blakes Big Apple Cider Mill! He got to ride on a bus, go on a hayride, pick apples, pet & feed animals, eat cider & donuts, climb a hay mountain and even go through a small corn maze. It was fun filled day for him that wore him out, he fought to stay awake on the bus ride home. He loved his field trip!
